First, we raise funds to provide resources for academic enhancements which are not covered through the normal school budget. As part of our 2009-2010 fundraising effort, we are working to build the Trojan Nation with the Trojan Alumni Club, local business support and parent and staff support. LHS staff members apply for grants from the Foundation to cover all or part of the expenses for these enhancements to the curriculum. Secondly, we recognize students who have demonstrated achievement of academic excellence and/or have enhanced the overall climate of Longmont High School.
