Fall 2011 Freshman Student of the Term Winners
|
Francisco
Razo Munoz (male)
Nominated by:Anne
Atherton
Francisco is one of my stand out kids in my large
block 7 Biology class. He is a student I
can count on to work hard and stay on task....He participates in class and goes above and
beyond to understand content. He is very
helpful during lab groups to keep his group and other groups on track.
Francisco has a positive attitude and shows that he
wants to learn. He is starting out his
first year as a Trojan on the right hand through his academic achievement, his
positive attitude, and his ability to work well with others in class.

Jose
Macias Ramirez (male)
Nominated by: Adam Keiswetter"Jose in Health...is one of the
quiet leaders of the classroom. He is always on time, prepared for class and he
is overall a great role model for the 9th grade class....Jose is not the kind of student to seek out praise or to ask for recognition
but I feel he deserves it for his tremendous work ethic and I have seen his
classmates start to follow his lead-as is the case with most great leaders
others will notice their success and want to follow them. "

Amanda
Arndt (female)
Nominated by: Julie Read
"I would like to recommend Amanda Arndt, Freshman, for the student of the
term award. Amanda is taking a challenging course load as a freshman, and
handling the coursework with a smile and great attitude. She is
multi-talented, a voracious reader, and a great class leader. I am
looking forward to see all the great things she will achieve at Longmont High
School, as her work ethic and attitude are sure to take her far."

Annaliesa Sullivan (female)
Nominated by: Maggie
Lynch
"Annaliesa works with students who have
intellectual disabilities. She demonstrates a level of maturity beyond her
young age....Annaliesa is what I call “A breath of
Fresh Air,” in our classroom....While she is with us,
her focus is on the students, and how best she can assist them. She does not hesitate to ask for clarification
of instructions, or to seek help when she needs it...Annaliesa has also shared with me that
she does community volunteer work, and recently visited a senior community,
brought the residents cookies, and played Bingo with them....Towards the end of class, I sometimes
ask Annaliesa if she has any cocerns, questions, and or comments. She has taken me up on this quite a few
times, and has demonstrated a wonderful, inquiring mind."
