"Shannon is a very diligent student who works hard, strives for excellence in everything that she does, and has a rare passion for learning. Shannon asks many questions on topics that peak her curiosity, spends the time to investigate her questions outside of class, and enthusiastically participates in class.....This year, Shannon is volunteering her time to help teachers (and students) in the science department....Not only does Shannon shine as a scholar, but she has also been highly involved in the band program as a drum major and member of the drumline team."
